I built this deck to allow someone who only has 1 core set and 1 copy of The Circle Undone to build a deck using a core set investigator. Check out my other decks for similar examples.
This deck leverages Roland's Strength and fighting ability to gain clues (though can investigate 'normally' well enough as a backup). Use Evidence!, Interrogate or Roland's special ability to gain clues then combo with Deduction, Working a Hunch or Connect the Dots to multiply your clue gain. There are plenty of weapons and beefy allies here to make Roland fight well when he's not investigating. Delay the Inevitable should help keep him alive (and Steadfast likes Roland to stay healthy and sane for its best effect).
