An untested combat-focused Yorick deck full of inexpensive, disposable assets to take advantage of his retrieval ability.

Since he happens to have 2 enemy cards as weaknesses, I foresee his ability triggering frequently. I just need to be careful about getting overwhelmed.

With the 2-handed Baseball Bat as well as a steady stream of Knife and Lantern, I wanted to test if the Bandolier would come in handy. If not, I may just swap them out for Leather Coat, and make Yorick more of a tank. Fine Clothes may also get swapped out, but I wanted to try it, for fun.

.45 Automatic isn't totally necessary, but it's good to have a dependable ranged weapon for situations like facing an Avian Thrall.

For multiplayer support, and to keep his low sanity in check. I included First Aid (and not Emergency Aid) because it's an recurrable asset, and I won't want to heal allies. I also included "If it bleeds..." for similar reasons.

Clue gathering will fall more upon other players, but I should be able to help pick up my fair share of clues with the help of Lantern, Evidence!, ""Look what I found!", Lucky! and plenty of lore icons to contribute to checks.

This Yorick will likely hit a speedbump with evasion checks. He doesn't seem terrible, just mediocre when I'm providing little icon support for his 3 evade. I'm hoping a recurring stray cat will be enough to offset such situations. Either way, this Yorick should be trying to engage far more often than evading.

Notes:

  • I may swap out Beat Cop and .45 Automatic for cheaper assets if I find they rarely make it to the table.
