"You can't lose the game.
Whenever you gain life, draw that many cards. Whenever you lose life, for each 1 life you lost, exile a permanent you control or discard a card from your hand or graveyard. When Lich's Mastery leaves the battlefield, you lose the game."
Core idea
The plan is simple and straightforward.
Play the Idol of Xanatos, feed it with your hope to stay at 5/5 forever (6/6 with Five of Pentacles). Get back your Glimmers of Hope from the discard pile when needed.
Don't doom out.
Pro tip: do not take 4 damage/horrors in the same round (unless you can heal or cancel it).
Serious tips: Idol of Xanatos can cancel direct damage from Voice of the Messenger, as well as horror from Ward, or damage/horror you take when you force enemies into Toe to Toe (the cost is paid as the enemy attacked).
