He assists Joe with the Scarlet Keys. The idea is to have Carson maximally resilient against the encounter deck and enemies. Rherefore Hunter's Armoris upgraded first. The Guard Dog is supported with 2x Trusted. Both cards became very strong with #TheStar XVII.
Carson is collecting clues and makes damage without any tests. With Book of Psalms he floods bless tokens and uses these tokens with Favor of the Sun as a three time Unexpected Courage. Sacred Covenant saves the bless tokens a long time in bag.
It is so cool to make 4 damage to an Enemy with just one card without a test using Toe to Toe supported from the dog and the Armor. Very strong deck.
My second playthroug with the scarlet keys was very easy with Carson and Joe.
