Very new to the game, I tried to brew this without doing too much external research into deck tech. This build is a clue finder with pretty good evasion support, which tries to generate advantage with cards like rabbits foot, burglary, and pickpocketing. It also has a bunch of ways to recurse cards that get discarded either via Pete's ability or come with built-in ways to discard.

Feedback is very welcome! My collection is pretty limited so some of the choices are just based around whats in my cardpool. Good hunting, investigator!

Hi guts_! First excuse for my bad english... Remember that the ability of Duke (" Exhaust Duke: Investigate...") don't trigger with cards like Burglary or Lantern (you can not combine the effect of two o more different investigate action). I think that you'll struggle investigating in location with shroud 3 or more without Duke.

Wow thanks!!! That's super good feedback, I'm still learning about how some of these card interactions work so that's very helpful. Can you suggest what sort of cards I should be looking for to improve investigation? I just pulled the trigger on the rest of the Dunwich Legacy cycle, & I have the Carcosa cycle too.

Use cards that give passive bonus, like Magnifying Glass or Dr. Milan Christopher. Two cards that I love to use with Ashcan are Dark Horse (you have a deck with low cost cards and Madame Labranche that help you with her resource) and St. Hubert's Key (ok , with it you have 3 sanity but give you access to the "Desperate" skill cards: Reckless Assault, Say Your Prayers, Desperate Search and Run For Your Life). I think that Deduction is a great cards to empty locations.
