Favor of the Djinn

THIS DECK WAS DESIGNED FOR 1 TO 2 PLAYER GAMES

I thought it might be fun to try Skids alternate back (both for the reduced deck size and the access to survivor cards) while keeping the original front side for an increased action economy. Although I wanted to lean into "big money rogue" the support for gaining resources exists in the deck and should be enough to sustain him.... and extra actions are ALWAYS useful.

Creating a "toolbox" style deck with only 25 cards, where later on 7 of them are part of a combo, was a bit difficult. With every slot being contested I tried my best to balance card draw, resource gain, and useful supporting cards. Because of skids' low and he needs some assistance in getting clues and fighting enemies, so I have opted to take both a Thieves' Kit and a level 1 Lockpicks as they will allow him to spend at least two actions per turn investigating with a reasonable stat. I figured the .25 Automatic would be the best offensive options as it offers a 5 to hit with +1 damage once you have evaded the enemy.

Now for the fun part! Once the deck has at least 9XP we can get: Shrine of the Moirai, Eye of the Djinn, Favor of the Moon, and Favor of the Sun. The "combo" starts by having both favors in hand, as well as Tempt Fate, playing fate to put in 3 bless / curse, and then playing both favors to seal all of the tokens you just put in. So for 0 actions and 2 resources you get to draw a card and have full favors. Now when we do a test, we can use the favors to pull both a bless and a curse after activating the ability on Eye of the Djinn, gaining us an action and readying the eye so we can use it again. Once you run out of charges on your favors they will both be discarded, now we can use the Shrine of the Moirai to fetch them back! Once they are returned to our hand we simply need to use Scrounge for Supplies on Tfate or Keep Faith and Scrimshaw Charm to refill the bag with bless & curse so that we can replay our favors for more actions / stat buffs from the eye! Broken Diadem can be added in to enhance this combo once you have acquired some of the other key upgrades (Like Stylish Coat and Lucky Cigarette Case 3).
