Roland is one of three Investigators in a currently running campaign of Arkham Horror TCG. Originally built from 2xCoreSets, these decks have been reworked to pull from the card pool of all expansions. Each deck is built to cover different aspects of staving off the encroaching doom of the Mythos.
Campaign progress:
• The Gathering (5xp) Daisy's House burned to the ground
• The Midnight Masks (2xp) The Masked Hunter interrogated, It is past midnight
Roland has 1 Mental Trauma.
Roland's role in the group is to handle bad guys first and discover clues second. If he can't do either of those, get resources to pay for those expensive assets.
Experience choices:
2x Forewarned: These seem like they should be in any Roland deck. In order to deal with Cover Up, Roland needs to be able to discover clues in the late game, where there might not be many left on the ground. Roland's .38 Special needs clues on the ground to really shine. This card is a way to make that happen. Besides being able to cancel a treachery card.
1x Charisma: Roland needs backup to tank monsters and cultists for the group.
2x Brother Xavier: Tanky ally with Willpower boost and on-defeat damage to an enemy. Easy choice for Roland.
