The idea was to build a Roland Banks deck that functioned just as much off of Seeker cards as it does Guardian cards. This version of Roland, with Dr. Milan Christopher, Working a Hunch and Inquiring Mind can clear locations quickly, and Shortcut helps get him where he needs to go.
Early upgrades should include Pathfinder, of course, as well as anything else that helps him compress actions and both deal with enemies and investigate.
Only two weapons besides Roland's gun? That's my only concern, otherwise looks solid. If you listen to podcasts, check out MythosBusters. They have a lot of good advice for newer players!
