Solo Yorick has not been an easy deck for me to figure out. Balancing his ability to get clues vs dealing with the Encounter deck has been tough to nail down. Since this is a solo deck I've built him as a tool box to try and handle what ever is thrown at him.

For Clueing I've included the Old Keyring as it fits right in with his playstyle and is cheap to recur. Gravedigger's Shovel is a great way to take clues off of high shroud locations, even if level 0 can get expensive to recur multiple times. "Look what I found!" and Scene of the Crime are both great events to grab clues if Yorick has the funds.

Speaking of Funds, Madame Labranche helps a ton with those events. I try to spend all of my resources each round so I can use her to get me back to 2 resources before the mythos phase so I have the cash to play a Lucky! on a crucial test or one of the clue events at the start of the investigation phase. If her economy isn't needed, a 2 cost 2health/2sanity soak that can be recurred is pretty nice in my experience. Emergency Cache in an opening hand helps to get Billy's asset play going.

Weapon wise, the .18 Derringer and the Enchanted Blade are my main ways to fight. Both are cheaper than the .45 Automatic and while I like the Meat Cleaver I found it tricky to juggle his sanity sometimes. The previously mentioned Gravedigger's Shovel helps conserve ammo/charges when dealing with enemies with odd health values. Vicious Blow because why not take it if you plan to fight? The Guard Dog is great with Yorick. Part of the upgrade plan is to trade him in for a Beat Cop and possibly grab Charisma.

Tennessee Sour Mash and Take the Initiative are mythos phase protections. With Live and Learn and Lucky! being all-round useful for tests.
