This is my take on William Yorick: Ally-heavy combat oriented build.
What you need from your teammates is clue gathering, Daisy Walker or Minh Thi Phan are good partners.
The main concept is to abuse his special ability to reuse strong allies. The deck that you see is end game, but you can just start with lvl 0 version of allies.
With Machete and Beat Cop you have 6 , its just what you need in most combat situations.
Cherished Keepsake and Leather Coat are for extra tankyness.
Ever Vigilant is a cheap way to save resources and actions, Emergency Aid is to heal up Beat Cop and abuse his fast ability. Aquinnah and Peter Sylvestre is a GOD MODE, she reflects all incoming damage and Peter just take horror. The Red-Gloved Man is your "OH-SHIT" card and once you use him its a great card to dig out from discard pile.
When you play try to get your allies ASAP + grab a weapon, then thanks to high skill and a lot of tankyness you can take care of many enemies at once, letting your seeker to collect all the clues.
