If you haven't tried playing Amina Zidane on Expert, 3 in a primary is just a waking nightmare.

A lot of this deck is what I'd call "desperate." Amina Zidane doesn't actually work too well in a two investigator party on Expert with the current card pool, (that isn't rare, most investigators pairs that aren't Mark Harrigan and Darrell Simmons won't have an easy time. The game is generally easier when you add more investigators.) That being said, this is the best you can do and it's not so far from good as you might think. A deck needs to be able to at least aspire to be consistently 4 above a 3 target (7 ) with the ability to reach +2 higher (9 ) or it doesn't work in Expert. The deck will stumble a lot but once it gets Sin-Eater it can be very strong. I do think the spells that punish +1, 0, and are very funny and obviously powerful with Expert difficulty chaos bags where there will only be two tokens that burn you.

How good the deck is without Sin-Eater is wildly dependent on the agendas and if there are Ancient Evils like effects in the encounter deck. Without Moonlight Ritual, you want to get the doom up to 2 away from advancing so that the next mythos phase does not advance, then stack up as much doom as you'd like just before it all clears.

Arcane Research and Down the Rabbit Hole make it difficult to describe how to spend experience in the deck, but needless to say, you want to get your 4 free exp after each scenario. However, in addition to upping your spells, you should:

At some point you also want to upgrade Blood Pact and take Ghastly Possession to replace.
