Want to get seven or more nearly fail-proof one-resouce Backstabs from a single card? Or actionlessly light off a discounted Dynamite Blast nearly every turn?

This is a fighty Skids deck for two-handed play. It relies primarily on Tactic recursion for consistent, efficient damage-dealing. How? Use Chuck Fergus (and later Chuck Fergus) to play Tactics featuring some combination of fast, reduced cost, and skill boost. Then, recur those Tactics using The Book of War (https://arkhamdb.com/card/11020).

Several of these Tactics make up for Skid's mediocre stat line by combing two skills or providing testless results.

Mulligan hard for The Book and Chuck. With those and Bank Job or Grift, you're one setup turn away from steamrolling enemies. British Bull Dog and Machete are decent fallbacks.

An ideal pairing would be any cluever who can help with card draw, deck searches, and/or horror healing--I'm thinking Minh Thi Phan would be a lot fun in the Current pool! In return, Skids can handle any enemy, while also adding timely evasions and sharing resources.

Task Force, played on Skids or another player, is a standout during down turns.

Chuck Fergus is your priority upgrade. Most of the others are self-explanatory, but "Watch this!" replaces Guts, Counterpunch replaces One-Two Punch, Strong-Armed can replace Vicious Blow, and Inspiring Presence could repalce any card you find to underpeform later in the campaign.

Note: The Book and Chuck seems like a perfect match, but I didn't see any published decks with this combination. If you see any ways to improve my version (particularly using the Current pool up to Drowned City), please let me know!
