As my first deck out of the gate, I decided to tightly specialize Agnes on her two strongest traits--Willpower and Agility.

Her Combat skill is too low to make manual combat viable and adding "back-up" weapons only serves to dilute the deck. When it comes to combat, she's all spells, all the time. She's got the 5. Let's use it!

Arcane Initiate will help us get her main combat card (Shrivelling) in hand ASAP (as well as act as a meat shield). Guts and Unexpected Courage help ensure her spells always hit. Her special ability is retaliatory in nature, but we can provoke it using Forbidden Knowledge supported by Holy Rosary and Fearless.

Until she can sling the big spells, she'll need to keep out of the big fights. This means reliance on her Agility skill. Blinding Light, Stray Cat, and Manual Dexterity are all here to help keep the monsters off her back until she can properly deal with them.

Her Intellect skill is very low so she will need non-traditional methods of investigation. Drawn to the Flame and "Look what I found!" give her options

Agnes' dependence on spells means she will require a healthy pool of resources, so Emergency Cache is a must-have. Leather Coat rounds things out with a bit of extra protection, though you could swap this out for either Survival Instinct (and go all-in on evasion) or Ward of Protection to deal with those pesky Encounter cards.

Damn, two Drawn to the Flame without Scrying. You are a brave soul indeed!

I like the idea, will test it solo now in Tabletop Simulator.

Ok, not bad, survived the first scenario with 3 / 3, but it' also a scenario where you can wait a lot. Looking forward to 2nd scenario with your deck :D

When The Dunwich Legacy comes out, throw in 2 copies of Rite of Seeking and you turn Agnes into an investigation powerhouse, on top of all the cool stuff your decks let's her do already.

Nice card! I guess if that investigation attempt is your last action you lose no action because there is none left? :D

`@ForAiur Indeed, at least that's how I think it works.

How does Rosary help with her ability, other than allowing you to absorb horror from something else when you don't need to trigger it?

@captainraffi I don't t think it helps in a way other than absorbing horror. But having a way to asorb horror when playing Agnes is important and it does help boosting your willpower skill when attacking with Shrivelling (and questing with Rite of Seeking when The Dunwich Horror is released)

@Heyenzzzok that's what I figured.
