[Using Rite of Seeking in place of Sixth Sense to publish the deck until it is released]
Diana is a tough nut to crack. Every deck I tried to build for her felt like a worse guardian with protections. That's not terrible, but I prefer characters that are reliable at fighting or clue gathering. Wasting her high willpower in the late game felt wrong but I couldn't justify adding the usual spells.
Diana finally clicked for me once I considered including Sixth Sense in her list. It's not online from the beginning and it should actually be mulliganed away in the starting hand. But, with only 3 ignore effects it's already investigating at 4 and can get ridiculously as high as 8+ in the late game. It comboes with Dark Prophecy in some situations and it's not limited by charges as Rite of Seeking is.
This deck is not good for solo play, as it doesn't have options for early clues, but with one partner that has them, it is very powerful.
Drawn to the Flame is to force trigger encounters and to scoop hard clues early on. Prepared for the Worst has 5 targets and Enchanted Blade is good for the extra +1 combat to hit. Added 1 copy of Shrivelling to use late game as a limited, powerful and non-situational alternative to Machete.
By having 12 cancel/ignore effects the deck, Diana offers protection, draws cards and resources, and achieves a very high investigation score for the mid-to-late game.
My priority upgrades are: -2 Steadfast, +2 Ace of Swords -1 Delay the Inevitable, -1 Hypnotic Gaze, +2 Counterspell
