Goals are simple: We are attempting to create a consistent succeed by two Skid's deck that will abuse card draw, resource gain, and skill cards.

The upgrade path is fairly simple:

Remove:

-2x Flashlight

-1x Second Wind

-2x Hard Knocks

-2x Unexpected Courage

-2x Pickpocketing

Add:

+1x Charon's Obol

+2x Lockpicks

+3x Easy Mark

+2x Sure Gamble

+2x Daredevil

The problem comes from finding the upgrade path. Charon's Obol and Lockpicks is an easy start to be added, simply removing the Flashlight. After that we have a far more complicated situation, as the "weakest cards" depends entirely on the scenario. I will be taking a version of this through The Circle Undone to experiment.

I feel like Gregory Gry would be a better option than Dario for this deck. He feeds directly into the succeed by two theme and will give much better action economy because you don't need to take any actions in order to gain the extra resources.

Ya know I was debating Gregory Gry over Dario El-Amin for that exact reason! I thought the biggest issues facing solo Skids was going to be intellect/willpower tests, and Dario El-Amin was the only ally that could fulfill that role, while also acting like a mini Borrowed Time with Skid's power.

I'm expecting to ditch the big money stuff eventually, just do to limited card pool. Ive always felt Big Money Skids is a much worse Jenny/Preston deck, but with this Daredevil skills package maybe he could carve out a unique niche. This warrants testing!

The issue is that the static boosts only kick in while you have 10 or more resources. This is fine for some of the other rogues but not so much for Skids since you're going to want to be spending. If you're not activating his ability multiple times in a game then you're not getting the best out of him.

True, but doesn't Greg only equal a +6 gain in resources? If we are going that route wouldn't Investments work better? Greg get's full payout in 4 tests, usually 4 turns in True Solo, and Investments pays out a larger pot in 8 turns, without the danger of losing the resources.

Gregory Gry is a big contender if this deck runs out of resources, but Dario El-Amin is not only a potential static boost, but also a Borrowed Time with one click. If you are losing money faster than you are gaining it though, Gregory Gry is probably a better stronger investment.
