Dark horse Preston (44xp)

this deck is an evolved version of dark horse preston with various mechanics involved

it has been tested in STANDARD and HARD mode and I think it can also do the job in EXPERT mode due to its testless caracteristics

the dark horse side

for those who don’t know the trick, ressources on your Family Inheritance are not in your ressource pool so you still have them While playing and getting the benefits of Dark Horse. The dark horse side uses :

• Dark Horse of course ; personally I sacrifice mithos phase and take the ressource every turn to get advantage of the other sides of the deck
• Fire Axe the main fighting solution
• Mariner's Compass to investigate and get 2 clues on « low to middle » shrewd value locations

the failure side

the point here is to use failure at your advantage or negate failure ; cards here are pretty well known in a survivor’s mechanic

• "Look what I found!" gives you security while using Mariner's Compass if you keep 2 ressources you can even on a high shrewd value keep 3 ressources and couple it with Lucky!
• Rabbit's Foot allows you to draw and
• Third Time's a Charmgives you security for your important tests

the testless side

my favorite part : use your Family Inheritance ressources to get 2 clues from high shrewd value locations with Intel Report

then use Scrounge for Supplies to get Intel Report back

you can then even use Resourceful to get Scrounge for Supplies back

Lola Santiago and Delilah O'Rourke will of course help you there

the mithos negation side

In multiplayer : "You handle this one!" and A Test of Will are here to save you

If one of your felloz investigators needs ennemies (Roland Banks or Zoey Samaras for example), "You handle this one!" Will furthermore feed them.

The « I Want high stats » side

here comes the best part : Dark Horse gives you +1 to each stat Delilah O'Rourke and Lola Santiago combined give you +1 to each stat Geas give you +1 to each stat while you wont commit cards to tests during your turn ( Resourceful can still be used during mithos phase or your fellow investigator in multiplayer)

this combination pushes you to 4 to each stat, while giving you lots of health and mental sanity

and with 2 Charisma you can still play Leo De Luca to get extra actions
