TLDR SUMMARY Basic level Jim Culver deck using only Core+Dunwich cards. Jim's base statistics allow for reasonable early campaign progression. For more difficult "Investigate" and "Fight" challenges the deck relies on spells. For any "Evade" needs Level 0 cards are relied upon, until campaign experience allows for suitable additional spells.

DECK COMPLEXITY I am a beginner level player, having picked up on the game via the Team Covenant YouTube Channel. Deck progression is also limited to the Core (Revised) and Dunwich (Campaign+Investigator) set cards only; these being the only ones owned/played. There's no reason this deck would not work Multiplayer.

DECK OBJECTIVES The deck aims to use Jim's balanced starting statistics, and use spells wherever possible to augment these (Rite of Seeking, Shrivelling]. Holy Rosary was an essential asset, augmentmenting "Willpower" for spell casting and encounters. The initial deck relies on Arcane Initiate to get to these spells quickly given their importance, and therefore Moonlight Ritual is also included to mitigate the doom cost of this. Moonlight Ritual is also a go to event card later down the line as Jim's character turns to Blood Pact to become a more powerful spell caster as he gains experience. The deck also augments Jim's innate statistical advantage, where , courtesy of his trait ability, Skulls are revealed as a "0". Ritual Candles, even in its Taboo definition, compliments this very well. Where Jim falls down, sometimes literally, is his low "Evade" stat. This is where the use of his five Level 0 cards of other classes was concentrated, Elusive in particular saving his ass more than once.
