A convoluted combo that will ultimately make you get less clues than a Rex.

The combo

  1. Have 0 clues
  2. Have The Skeleton Key attached to your location or be at a shroud 2 or less location.
  3. Have your role be
  4. Investigate with Archaic Glyphs
  5. commit your 2 Deduction
  6. commit at least 1 more
  7. switch your role to
  8. commit Gumption
  9. play 2 Shed a Light
  10. This should get you to 12 which means you succeed the test by 12.

While getting ready for the big one TM you're gonna have to survive with cards like Tooth of Eztli, Deny Existence, Liquid Courage and Bizarre Diagnosis.

Other cards that let you drop clues are used to abuse Newspaper in the meantime. Use them to gain 3 clues in one location and then transport them onto a location with even more clues while drawing 6 cards with Captivating Discovery or combo Analysis and Liquid Courage to drop your whole load and make a big stockpile.

Actually, the 2 Shed a light was FAQ'd, and it works! I will now send the email to add it to ArkhamDB; thanks for the reminder.

For the note, I asked for Double, Double Shed a Light with Preston Fairmont.

I like the mental exercise! I am not sure how to make it properly work best, maybe, for instance, adding Gené Beauregard and Vantage Point to pile up the clues at one location.

thanks for the knowledge! It's honestly just bad xD. In terms of how to make it usable, i think turning it into a more half clue/half support is the best way. One pretty efficient investigate per act with just the asset half while playing "I've got a plan!" like cards or just supporty stuff in the meantime

If my memory serves me right,all cards are committed at once. Therefor,there is no player window between committing cards.
