This is a flex (leaning cluer) support Father Mateo deck. You can automatically pass any test you want once a turn by resolving the bless token, and using Ancient Covenant. When you pass a test this way, you get some nice rewards:

Get 2 free resources or card draw with Jewel of Aureolus
Get a card draw by "guessing" (cough) knowing how much you succeed by with Crystal Pendulum

Strategy: Find Read the Signs early, and replay it every turn by resolving a bless token. Bless tokens revealed outside of your ability never go to waste, you can seal them on Nephthys for 2 free damage when needed.

Keep your team alive by taking out a bless token to heal each turn with The Key of Solomon and if you need even more blesses or healing use Absolution.

Enemy Management: Blessed Blade resolving a bless and Nephthys can allow you to help out when your team needs extra damage, but this won't be your main job. You can also deal with your weakness on your own when it shows up.

Clueing: Ensure you always recur Read the Signs by revealing the free bless symbol. Outside of this card, use Eyes of the Dreamer or Drawn to the Flame for even more clue power.

Card Draw: You draw a ton with Crystal Pendulum while auto-suceeding, and if you don't need resources, take the draw option with Jewel of Aureolus

Economy: There is plenty of resources in this deck, you'll need them! You have fantastic team support with Rite of Sanctification, get 5-7 resources with Voice of Ra, and get infinite money with Jewel of Aureolus

Dec 27, 2025 CitizenFry01 · 15 The combination of Parallel Mateo front to force yourself to draw a bless once per turn, with Ancient Covenant to stop drawing after you draw that bless, is fantastic for mitigating RNG. Especially when you have all those cards that care about drawing "a symbol". Nice deck! Just gotta make sure the bag doesn't ever run completely dry of blesses - hopefully your team can help out a little.

So the only way you ever lose bless tokens out of circulation is through The Key of Solomon. Since Nephthys takes the rest of the blesses revealed during tests, and if there's no enemies you can use the other option to return 3 blesses! I expect you can get all 5 blesses by committing Purified to an auto-succeed test, or playing Keep Faith. The deck cycles relatively quickly so you should always be able to keep the bag full on your own, even in high player counts.
