This version of Daisy is designed to be played as part of a pair, where the other investigator can protect her through the 1st two or three scenarios until her research engine can get started.

When Daisy starts, she's already an amazing researcher, so this deck is designed to grow that engine -- not by accumulating more icons, but by giving her foolproof strategies to sidestep everything the agenda deck throws at her. She needs foolproof avoidance of monsters, counters to bad treacheries, and counters to high-integer skill tests (usually in the form of the very occasional unavoidable combat). The reason this is a Daisy deck, as opposed to any other Seeker, is how her free book-use turns can fuel all those goals.

The key avoidance combination we're looking for is Archaic Glyphs and Book of Shadows. The starting card Archaic Glyphs is a tome, so she can discard to meet its research goal for zero action cost. Shrewd Analysis allows us to sometimes get lucky and get both copies of the escape-upgrade for free, but even the "failure mode" of getting Archaic Glyphs allows the player to accelerate clue-gathering beyond what a normal Deduction can muster. Depending on the need for valuable arcane slots, one could end up replacing one of the Deduction cards rather than trying to translate the glyphs again.

Dealing with treacheries starts with Ward of Protection, but can eventually be supplemented with Forewarned or Ward of Protection's upgraded version.

Dealing with high-integer skill checks is the domain of Mind over Matter, I've Got A Plan, but eventually these are both surpassed by Higher Education and the wonderful Encyclopedia. The attack version of Strange Solution is also a viable upgrade, if the other investigator isn't a murder machine on their own.

Finally, Charisma is great for allowing the David Renfield doom-cash to coexist with Dr. Milan Christopher's investigation cash, making it nearly impossible for Daisy to lack the funds to play cards. However, if one finds it difficult to naturally cycle (i.e. bump off) David Renfield before an agenda threshold is reached when Charisma is in play, the occasional Sacrifice provides win-win retirement plan.
