Finn is old-school when it comes to getting a job done. "Flashlight: Check. Backpack: Check. Perception: Check. Okay, I'm ready. If the flashlight runs out of batteries, I'm pretty sure we can go Scavenging for another one."

Life was pretty good for Finn. But not great. His two weaknesses, which landed him in jail (mental trauma) and the hospital (physical trauma) more than his fair share, had been bad luck (treacheries) and getaways gone bad (swarms of evaded enemies). He always did his part, but the perfect score had always alluded him because his allies never gave exactly the help he needed. What he really needed was a fresh mind-- malleable, but with the kind of confidence one only finds in youth.

Enter the new getaway driver, "Baby" (Peter Sylvestre). Baby, together with the new getaway car (Quick Thinking) and the stylish, not-at-all-suspicious Trench Coats are bringing new life to the job. Finn is often so far ahead of his pursuers that he gets downright cocky ("Watch this!") and lights up a smoke from his Lucky Cigarette Case. His confidence renewed, Finn's old, violent ways start to re-emerge. Sometimes with a fist (Sneak Attack) or a pistol (Hatchet Man) in the back. Or a Tommy Gun (.45 Thompson; Chicago Typewriter is a placeholder until The Secret Name is released) swings out of his jacket (Sleight of Hand) and pumps their guts full of lead. He's having too good a time today. He ain't thinking about tomorrow.
