This was such a hard deck for me to pare down, as I really had to focus on whether I wanted to build Luke as a Seeker (probably what is intended with his off class) or a super-agile mystic damage dealer, with his ability to play events as if he were at other locations.

I opted for the seeker route, choosing to forgo any offense aside from Blinding Light, which might get me out of tricky situations where I can still deal one damage and move on.

I chose both Rite of Seeking and Sixth Sense, as Drawn to the Flame might help me draw those special symbols. With Seeker access, Mr. "Rook" seems like a good way to guarantee I can get my seeker spells out early and often.

For defense, I didn't love using up 2 card slots for Trench Coat, but it does give a passive bonus during evasions, and I can upgrade into Bulletproof Vest if I have the XP for it later on. To offset Arcane Research, I brought along 2x Holy Rosary and of course Mr. Rook helps as a damage or horror soak. Ward of Protection will also save my bacon when the Mythos phase comes around. Eldritch Inspiration might help with bad token draws, or HELP when I am using Sixth Sense.

Clue gathering cards that work well with Luke seem to be Working a Hunch, which he can use from the pocket dimension (Dream-Gate), and Drawn to the Flame works nicely from there as well on the chance that an enemy is drawn.
