This is a deck I used to pretty easily beat Circle Undone solo and now going through Dream Eaters cycle. It is a lot of fun so I decided to post it. Hope it will be some inspiration!

Main part of this deck is getting the most out of our friend Dayana Esperence. She has two great options for spells that can be attached to her in this deck - Blood-Rite which can be useful when you need to deal a lot of damage. What's best it lets you do it without tests but it comes at a cost (so we need our Crack the Case and Emergency Cache). Another option, and a very powerful one, is to attach a Deny Existence to her which makes Norman pretty much invincible!

After you attach the spell you make sure that you don't run out of secrets on Dayana. That's why we have Truth from Fiction which, when played with Norman's special ability, adds 2 uses on Dayana for one resource which is awesome. If you used both TfF's you can still add secrets by playing them form discard pile with De Vermis Mysteriis. Ideally we should not even have De Vermis in play (which would cost time, resources and add doom). That's why we have another important card in this deck - Knowledge is Power. Playing it in combination with De Vermis is the main idea but it proves to be a great tool by working also with Mists of R'lyeh or Scrying - lots of use for it.

Investigating is not a problem for Norman - with 5 intellect you can do it pretty much without any setup. Still - the boost from Hawk-Eye Folding Camera can be helpful. You have also Working a Hunch if in hurry.

Dealing with enemies - you have multiple options. Mists, Blood Rites, "I've got a plan!", Mind over Matter or Persuasion. The last one can of course be swapped if you know that you won't be encountering and humanoids (if you do swap them you should also swap Fine Clothes).

Generally you should try to make the most use of Norman's special ability by prioritizing assets and events that are on the top of your deck. To make that easier this deck has no skills as you can see, just assets and events. Because of that, and because we have De Vermis to dig the events back, you should commit event cards for icons pretty freely when needed (for example Logical Reasoning to boost evading with Mists).

XP - your first buy should be Dayana of course, then upgrading Deny Existence, than buing De Vermis. After that you can go for upgraded Scrying (which is awesome in my opinion, especially in true solo) or Mists.

Have fun and let me know your thoughts!
