I initially added in all of the links, but then my internet went out and I'm not doing it again.

This deck's built around trying to make Relic Hunter decent in a deck. The winner appears to be Wendy: both Moonstone and the Crystallizer work extremely well with most Wendy builds, leading her to have slot problems. This is also probably the best possible deck for Impromptu barrier, which is why I'm dissapointed that it still wasn't good enough. Another notable absence is Backstab: the card's lack of boosts makes it an extremely sketchy proposition in Expert. Finally, resourceful and quick thinking are extremely powerful cards, but with Crystallizer you really want to focus on double pip events. This deck is designed around 4 player (see absence of lone wolf), and is extremely weak for the first scenario or two. Then you get your relic hunter and bows, and the fun really starts.

Still not sure whether to run Swift Reflexes or Manual Dexterity. My instinct has always been to run Manual and the like when you're this focused on one stat (tends to work even in Expert), and taking it out cuts my card draw even more, but you really want to be spamming events for the Crystallizer.

One thing that concerns me about this deck is the lack of draw: You'll be able to play at dealing with creatures between Waylay and Dumb Luck, but not really do anything about it. Not sure how to fix this; survivor draw is pretty weak.

Notes on Dumb Luck: I think that the card is quite powerful in Wendy (especially before you've got the bow going), with one caveat: you NEED to bully your guardian into becoming the lead investigator. At that point, dumb luck is a double agi pip card which also blanks an encounter card and redirects an enemy to your monster slayer.

Prospective upgrade path: Relic hunter (3), replacing N/A. Ornate bow x 2 (6), replacing 2x Flashlight. Haste x2 (4), replacing 2x Swift Reflexes.

From here, things branch out a lot. You could try to grab another Relic Seeker and some Feet, which could fix your card draw issues.

Whenever you have 5xp to blow: Grab 2x Leo (1) and a Charisma.

Maybe add some Will to Survive?

Hey nice deck, i played a lot with Crystallizer of Dreams and found Narrow Escape just awesome with it. For draw i would strongly suggest "You owe me one!" especially in 4 players. Play an eventcard from the hand of your teammate and put it in crystalizer together with "You owe me one!" and generate carddraw for you and your teammate, its great value and sometimes opens up unexpected possibilities. I also liked Easy Mark a lot for carddraw with crystallizer as well as Coup de Grâce. But iam not sure you need the money from the first or the double strength pip from the latter. For enemy management Sneak Attack seems to good to pass on on expert.

Oh and with the bow Narrow Escape seems nearly mandatory. Shoot, reload, dodge aoO with narrow and shoot again with plus 2 from narrow and 2 agility pips in crystallizer. Hoped some of that was helpful, Have fun

Maybe cut either lucky or winging it as they dont synergize with crytallizer at all

@Charles Dexter WardI didn't think about Narrow Escape. It's definitely better than Swift Reflexes in this deck. This deck has some pretty major economy problems because of all of the events, so Narrow Escape and Easy Mark are both nice.

I've tried Coup de Grâce in other decks, notably Tony, and it never feels like it's pulling its own weight: too much cost, timing restrictions, small effect, bad pips for Wendy.

I'll check out you owe me one (can't believe I didn't check it out, it's a free +1 card as long as you play the asset), but it really depends on what my party's playing, since it doesn't have the double pips you want with crystallizer.

Sneak attack was another card I cut due to lack of space: the assets in this deck aren't really touchable imo because of how efficient they all are, so I would have to cut winging it (which is good with wendy for unrelated reasons) or lucky (which is just really good).

I could see cutting lucky for you owe me one, and I'm swapping swift for narrow.

Forgot to mention that I'm going to shove marks in wherever I have spare xp. This deck wants both draw and resources, so marks feel a bit better than caches.

Sounds quite good to me :) Iam really not sure about dumb luck actualy... with all your assets you have badass 7 agility, you will very rarely fail an evade with wendy with lucky, live and learn and her ability in the backhand. Swift Reflexes seems better if you want more double agility pips If you have spare xp Close Call might be fun though for monster management

This is on Expert, so I'll definitely fail evades reasonably often even at +4: I won't usually have my assets all up until midgame, so until then there's even more possibility of failure. Given my economy right now I can't see myself running Swift Reflexes, since I'd probably never use the non-commit mode.
