Introduction

This is my deck being used with a friend in our duo run of The Circle Undone. The Secret Name is one of the longest scenarios in any cycle and it showed during our play. We surprisingly only went through the encounter deck once, but we were both at death's door (especially with having the mythos card that makes haunted ability triggers every turn.)

Plans

We finished the scenario getting 3 more experience, 3 artifacts found, and adding The Black Book to this deck (The friend as the lead investigator decided to give me the book.) Plans for upgrades: High Priority is to get Lola Santiago (replace Flashlight), upgrade Leo De Luca, then Charisma (11xp more). Next Priority: Easy Mark (Replace Lone Wolf and 1 Resourceful), The Skeleton Key (Replace last Resourceful) (7xp more). Lucky Dice is also good, but not sure what to replace for that, but I also don't see getting much more experience.

Thoughts

I find, even though I'm trying to save my resources with this deck, I spend a lot. That's one reason why Leo De Luca even costing 1 less is so important for me, so that I can at least not spend any of reserves on him. The combo is hilarious, but I swear we've decided every single option to put more tokens in the bag which is scaring me about running the Against All Odds combo. But it worked the 1 time I got to use it. Take Heart, Well Connected, and Drawing Thin are my MVPs. I don't see many people using Another Day, Another Dollarr, but I feel with a Smaug build, it just makes sense. I kinda wish I had "You handle this one!" somewhere in here cause it's so good and as the clue getter of the duo, it would be helpful. Lone Wolf has done nothing so far. Flashlight has been my "Look what I found!" trigger. Which I plan to have be the skeleton key later. We have 4 scenarios left to get the 14 experience I still need to get everything I want, but let's see what happens next time.
