This is my second Zoey deck, first in the Carcosa cycle and first to be published, so critique and suggestions are welcome.

This deck is for campaign only, as Zoey is really inefficient at clue gathering I didn't even bother to include any cards that would help, instead focusing purely on killing efficiency with an eye towards the shiny upgrade cards that are available to .

Loaded with weaponry to insure that Zoey always has the tools of her trade at hand this deck augments the traditional kill-em-all guardian archetype with shortcut and sleight of hand. shortcut allows Zoey the extra action she needs to move to a location, engage a creature from another investigator and make sure it's dead. Sleight of hand provides a lot of utility, allowing Zoey to play either of her firearm weapons, pick them back up, and then deploy them again with a fresh magazine. Timed right this can provide the same service as an extra ammunition for one less box and one less xp. Even more importantly for the time strapped Sleight of hand is a fast play. Drawn in your opening hand, the first turn can be spent setting up beat cop or physical training, moving to reveal locations, stockpiling resources, or preparing for the worst. A weapon need not go down until you're engaged with a creature.

For your starting hand you want to see any weapon and sleight of hand. With this accomplished you will also want to try drawing for beat cop or physical training and source of boxes. Bandoleer, "if it bleeds...", and taunt do not need to be in the opening hand unless you have a weapon and a way to buff . If your opening draw is abysmal hold onto prepared for the worst just in case.

bandolier is included in the expectation that either shotgun or lightning gun will make it into this deck as soon as possible. It's not a terrific draw but would still provide in an un-upgraded build. Other early upgrade options include taunt which would provide card draw in a deck starved for it, stand together which is a fairly good replacement for the emergency cashes for also providing card draw, and keen eye which will provide more reliable +4s, open up some card slots and may help a group of investigators that are bad at finding clues (i still wouldn't push it with Zoey.) Keen Eye pairs nicely with police badge for enhancing alchemical transmutation and providing more actions, though it conflicts with Zoey's personal item.
