the core card you need in play is Book of Living Myths, Favor of the Moon , Eye of Chaos and Armageddon , 2 Fey in your hand , so the singel part of these are useless before you get all of them , the starting hand you should find are Scroll of Secrets , Scroll of Prophecies , Deep Knowledge and Backpack , use these to find all part of core card.

I usually play AHLCG with 2 other friends in hard difficulty ,so it's recommend to play this deck only in 3-4 player, because before you get all core card , you could only use Spectral Razor to defense yourself , if lots of monster appear, you need fighter to protect you when you're not ready, Scrimshaw Charm are important, that could give you almost all money you need to play your core card , and add curse to give you additional turn with Keep Faith , after you get charm , you could give your teammate money by using Faustian Bargain, use your Backpack could find Book of Living Myths and other item you need, after you get all core card , you could investigate 2 clues and fight 2 damage with 12(4+6(2fey)+1(candle)+1(living ink(3turns))) once for free per turn , you could also use 1charge to investigate the place with 3 clues, and use Favor of the Moon to do this twice.

Candle and Living ink are not must to play, so it easy to get all part (BoLM , 2Fey , Eye of chaos to investigate , Armageddon to fight), and you needn't worry about money, when you need , just use your money maker Scrimshaw Charm , you could add most 18bless(2 keep faith,2 purify because you have total 12 value to against shroud or enemy) , that means you could exhaust 18 curse by your investigator s ability ,and Book of Living Myths consume 1 curse per turn, you needn't worry about curse, just make them become your additional turn!

the card you should upgrade first are Eye of the Djinn (to get another action), second copy of Favor of the Moon , Shrine of the Moirai with Olive McBride , Olive McBride gives you unstable 3rd chance (first by use BoLM ,second by Favor of moon) , if you can't find curse in 4 revealed chaos token, use Shrine of the Moirai to recycle Fey , it's recommend to use these with upgraded Living Ink (upgrade Living ink with 6exp,make it +2 , and have infinity charge) , Blasphemous Covenant and lots of curse in chaos bag (you could add curse by your charm),because Mcbride cause high difficulty , you are using 10(4+6+2-2(if curse appear and you haven't Blasphemous Covenant )) skill against difficulty with 2 chaos token. Shrine of the Moirai should also recycle the Favor of the Moon in discard pile to keep your efficiency

1 or 2 Spirit of Humanity with Occult Reliquary and LV3 tarot, this could give you curse without spend action, and heal you , could also add bless if you need.

then, other upgrade are not very important, you could buy call the beyond to improve your investigate speed (2 to 3),and other mystic event to defense encounter card, seal of elder to get 8 free damage if your fighter couldn't dealt a lot damage in short time.
