Rex "Axe-Hand" Murphy (3-players)

Meant to be played with Jenny "The Bank" Barnes and Mark "The Bodyguard" Harrigan. I have only played through Night of the Zealot with these decks but plan on taking them through Dunwich next. I'll post notes at the end.

What's my job?

Rex is here to find out the truth and get to the bottom of what the hell is going on. You are responsible for investigating and gathering all the clues. Hard mulligan for Dr. Milan Christopher and Old Book of Lore, the later of which will help you set up Magnifying Glass, Dr. Milan Christopher, Burglary, Fire Axe and Strange Solution. Fire Axe is there to make sure you don't get caught with your pants down if Mark is occupied, and between it and "I've got a plan!" (and later on Acidic Ichor), you will be contributing the whole way through, giving any boss monsters a run for their money. Keep in mind that Mark will need money and will be using Teamwork for assistance so keep an extra supply of cash available for him just in case.

• Guts -> Elder Sign Amulet
• Seeking Answers -> Bulletproof Vest
• Strange Solution -> Acidic Ichor x2
• "I've got a plan!" -> Cryptic Research
• Emergency Cache -> Emergency Cache 2 x2
• Magnifying Glass -> Magnifying Glass x2

Rex needs to set up a lot of cards making Cryptic Research and Emergency Cache 2 useful to fuel card draw. Elder Sign Amulet and Bulletproof Vest can be Scavenged for an infinite supply of health and sanity. Acidic Ichor ensures that you are able to help your group brute force their way past any big enemies. No Stone Unturned and In the Know are also worth considering if you have extra xp lying around.

• Bought Higher Education and upgraded one Strange Solution to Acidic Ichor

After completing The Midnight Masks

• 9xp gained
• Upgraded second Strange Solution to Acidic Ichor
• Bought Bulletproof Vest and Elder Sign Amulet, replacing Guts and Seeking Answers.

• Upgraded Magnifying Glass to Magnifying Glass
