For the Dunwich campaign with Jenny. Investigation/support, with some magic to beat the tripe out of things.
Weaponry:
- Spells. This is a Magic Daisy
Assets:
- Old Book of Lore for safe card draw. Hopefully the main thing her ability is used for.
- Medical Texts to heal. This is likely to be mostly herself.
- Encyclopedia to boost Jenny, mainly.
- Holy Rosary for the Willpower, to boost spells.
- Bulletproof Vest to account for low health. That's a major issue for Daisy.
- Pathfinder to run around quickly. Fantastic card.
Allies:
- Dr. Milan Christopher for +1 intellect, and to pay her to investigate.
- Research Librarian to help find the right tome.
Events:
- Blinding Light for evasion
- Ward of Protection to avoid troublesome treacheries in the first place. Daisy can handle the horror.
- Mind over Matter to temporarily make Daisy a bit of a monster.
Diary
6: Undimensioned and Unseen
Hmm. Might've got all the brood, but the encounter deck never threw a 4th one out. They did have spare time. Both Jenny and Daisy were pretty horrified by the end. Jenny managed to get +2 with Cat Burglar and Earl Sawyer out, and Pickpocket - so also drew 2 for each evade. Nifty.
Daisy with Pathfinder is also pretty awesome as she's effectively got 5 actions a lot of the time. Encyclopedia got a lot of use.
Whippoorwills were a pain.
5: Blood on the Altar
Very close finish! Jenny and Daisy had one horror remaining each. Bulletproof Vests and Holy Rosary were used multiple times. Jenny won at the last minute by killing Silas Bishop with her last shot.
Jenny drew off a bunch of hunters then used Elusive to escape.
4: After Essex County Express
Got through to the engine and got it started. Bit of a struggle, time wise; Jenny would have to move first, clear out enemies, and then Daisy follow and grab clues. No major issues, though.
3: After Miskatonic Museum
Beat the hunting horror a couple of times, by both Daisy and Jenny. Scrying with Daisy actually kept it nicely under control while she hoovered up clues - it was very useful. Cleared Searching for Izzie too. Pretty straight forward, to be honest.
Took the The Necronomicon - mostly 'cos Daisy Like Tomes. I'm hoping that it proves useful (resources might be nice).
2: After "House Always Wins"
Mostly, this was about Jenny; she paid for the early clues to get into the back rooms of the club, and then fought her way back to rescue Peter Clover. Daisy helped with some light Shrivelling, but mostly this was about Jenny, 2 guns, and a load of ammunition. Paying allies for clues is quite handy, too. Cleared the The Necronomicon too.
Got Dr. Henry Armitage.
1: After Extracurricular Activity
Jenny killed a lot of Thralls, and the duo saved the students. Both decks were starting to look a little thin with 'Beyond the Veil' in play. "Jazz" Mulligan was hiding pretty much at the bottom of the deck. It turns out that Old Book of Lore is not so useful when your draw is quite limited. Oh, and Identified the Strange Solution. (I'd still like to know what it does!)

Jun 09, 2017Yup. Should be on the left - the changes after each scenario. Just above the charts. |
Jun 09, 2017sure, I can see which upgrades you have put in...but I want to see when they have been added (after which scenario) and the corresponding xp spent... |
Jun 10, 2017I love the conciseness and formatting of your right up, nothing way too long and off putting. Just straight to the point and easy to skip to relevant sections. Nice work. Also nice deck btw! |
