Be good enough at Arkham to draw Dragon Pole in your opener. The spells are there just for the +1 , you may find yourself using them in desperation or just Torrent of Power. One piece of advice I have is that even when you have Prepared for the Worst in Stick to the Plan, I'd still mulligan for Dragon Pole because it has a decent chance of missing and you'd rather use Ever Vigilant turn 1. Think of it as a much needed last resort.
Standalone Experience. Do not take additional weaknesses.
- Take 1 Prepared for the Worst, 1 Ever Vigilant, and 1 Stick to the Plan.
- Cut 2 Deny Existence.
Campaign Experience.
- Take 1 Ace of Swords (1 exp) cut 1 Deny Existence.
- Take 1 Prepared for the Worst (2 exp), cut 1 Deny Existence.
- Take 1 Ever Vigilant (1 exp), cut 1 Voice of Ra.
- Take 1 Stick to the Plan (6 exp.)
- Take 2 Enchant Weapon (3 exp each,) cut 1 Voice of Ra and 1 Torrent of Power.
- Take 2 Vicious Blow (2 exp each,) cut 1 Torrent of Power and 1 Dark Prophecy.
- Upgrade 2 Stand Together into Stand Together (3 exp each.)
- Upgrade 1 Ever Vigilant into Ever Vigilant (3 exp.)
- Upgrade 1 Emergency Cache into Emergency Cache (2 exp.)
- Upgrade 2 Overpower into Overpower (2 exp each.)
- Take 1 Empty Vessel (4 exp,) cut 1 Dark Prophecy.
