This is an untested concept deck which i put together to hopefully stoke a little discussion following comments from @AkaanQ regarding Daisy solo mode on This deck.

The concept here is to try to take Daisy down an event heavy, low cost curve, route to make her less vulnerable to enemies in the early game.

It uses the same tutor engine as the above deck:

and then uses it to constantly dig/filter hard for toys to deal with enemies.

Ally hordes provide a combination of utility (draw and treachery protection), sacrificial meat shielding, and Calling in Favors fuel.

Quantum Flux should be used liberally to get those events/allys back into the deck to be dug out over. Dont underestimate the strength of this card. You dont have to use this to put your whole deck back. Honestly even shuffling 2-4 key cards back in when you have Old Book of Lore will get at least one of them back pretty fast. It also offers pseudo asset protection with Research Librarians in the deck you can literally tutor any Corroded tomes immediately.

What? No Dr. Milan Christopher? or Shrivelling? you must be mad! The deck is trying to be lean here and trying to be viable on the first scenario of a hard campaign. If you read my commentary around Shrivelling/Dr. Milan Christopher in the other deck`s description. This is a very slow and expensive way of dealign with enemies and cant be relied upon in the early game. Once its set up its great, but it will usually come into play in the mid-late game, which may not be good enough for solo. If the deck is lean enough, there is limited need for Dr. Milan Christopher as a cash engine, but his boost goes a really long way to saving cash spent on Higher Education since in the long run you want to be investigating at 6 on hard to help you get those 3 shroud areas without burning too many pips.

I opted for Magnifying Glass since this was substantially cheaper and therefore faster to set up than Dr. Milan Christopher and allowed the ally slot to be transient in the first game. Bare in mind if you do want to take Book of Shadows/Encyclopedia later on, it is just 1xp to swap Magnifying Glass to Milan or Alyssa Graham to recover that hand slot. You can wait until you have Charisma first so there will no longer be any dilema about keeping one in play vs turning off the ally spam. My instinct however is to try to do this without needing a 4 cost ally and just ignore the non-Old Book of Lore tomes. If Daisy`s ability just said draw 3 keep 1 card every turn she would still be considered strong by stint of just being a high consistency character and thats all were doing here. Being consistent with event availability.

A few things im not that sure about (All thoughts welcome but these would be most helpful):

That’s a totally different beast !

I need to test that. As you write, it seems quick and lean so I guess the point here is rushing the act deck before enemies are drawn.

Sure Strange Solution cannot be bad but we all know that. I like that you are trying Archaic Glyphs instead.

Agreed on Hypnotic Gaze, it’s not cheap. If the strategy is getting clues as fast as possible maybe Deduction or Working a Hunch. I like the latter because it is a good solution to Locked Door.

Maybe consider Disc of Itzamna at some point along the upgrade path ?
