Debutant Spy Trish

So goal for this deck was to make a deck for The Black Fan and The Red Clock. lots of resources, lots of actions and stat sticking it. but who can actually make good uses from the stats? Jenny Barnes gets the resources which helps but her stats don't inspire much. Trish Scarborough has a bit better stats to make use of the actions we're going to get and has an innate way to get bonus clues plus access to seeker for some strong clue finding tools/stat bonuses to make basic actions worth something.

In the thick of it 1 and 1 (you don't have much sanity to spare but Steady-Handed will solve this for you especially with how many actions you'll have once you get xp.)

I learned from my first game steady handed is too good for her. low sanity and really good card draw left me avoiding using pickpocketing for fear of dying to sanity.

if you are less scared take Stylish Coat and swap the trench coat out for redundancy or a polished cane if you need to flex a little more.

• a lot of actions from The Black Fan and The Red Clock combined with a really high score of 7 base plus Well Connected if that isn't enough.

Ally slot is tricky.

Dario El-Amin helps you get the resources you need to really ramp up for The Black Fan and an easy proc for Stylish Coat but trish wants to use String Along which is awkward. the stats are good and this deck is about Well Connected like abilities.

Whitton Greene on the other hand is useless until you have The Black Fan or The Red Clock in your deck. but she helped you get the 2 most expensive cards in your deck into play.

Personally I'd start with Dario El-Amin then swap to Whitton Greene when you have the key relics in your deck. Dario is always good but never great.

Part of me is even tempted to go Charisma just for the stats, though the option for resources doesn't hurt. upgraded Well Connected makes 2 resources become essentially pass a test. plus with both you now have 8 at base which makes basic investigations pretty consistent

Empirical Hypothesis honestly this card isn't terribly useful for trish but she'll proc it consistently once the Well Connected comes online. I still adore the card just for the peer reviewed aspect of helping you pop off and then helping everyone else pop off.

Currently running this deck in the new blood campaign on hard and its working. Had some issues with not drawing any of my resource gain/card draw until the midpoint of the game. started with The Red Clock instead of steady-handed and it worked really well. A lot of published decks are lack luster especially when trying to run higher difficulty games, I want to change that.
