Welcome! Forgive the whispering. I'm afraid that the bow lady might overhear me. She's attentive. That's how she got her hands on me. I'm guessing the bow lady spotted me when I was playing chauffeur. It was pitch black and I didn't even turn the steering wheel, but she must've seen me then. Afterwards, she asked Big Brother Bill about me. The bow lady is usually quite reserved, so Big Brother was surprised by the question, but then smiled and said that my name is Mr. Pawterson and that the bow lady is free to have me whenever she wished. Sharing is good, but I'd much rather sit in the front of the car with Big Brother Bill and Mr. Vela rather than in the back with the bow lady. Her fingers are bony and firm. Still warm though. And I prefer cuddling. Then again, petting isn't bad either. Now, shush...

We're in the past! Mr. Vela just explained that to Big Brother Bill. We were in Mexico City, but according to him we're now standing in the middle of Tenochtitlan. The name is different, but the place is the same, just earlier in time! Big Brother, please ask Mr. Vela how to spell Tenochtitlan. It sounds difficult and I wouldn't want to get it wrong. It starts with T , then probably E. T-E-N-O-, ummm... C? I don't know. I'll need to remember to check it in the dictionary when we get home. In the meantime, onwards brave explorers!

Oh! It's the Earnstone's study! Little Miss isn't here, but I bet I could climb the bookshelf and help myself to the dictionary! Ooff! Hmmhh! One! Two! One! Two! And up! Or do I need some sort of a historical reference book instead? That would be... over there! One moment. OK, I've got it. It's T-E-N-O-C-H-T-I-T-L-A-N and the A has that funny mark over it. It's called an accent. Sometimes foreign words are written with tiny changes to the alphabet we use, did you know that? Thanks for the assist! I don't want to leave Big Brother Bill for too long, so can we get back now? Oh, and we shouldn't forget the machete, Big Brother might need it.

Yes! I couldn't have asked for a better team! Have you seen Big Brother Bill? He went back for the young man who fell and dragged him to safety! Why dragged, instead of carried. Big Brother Bill is strong, so he could've carried him, but Big Brother knows that dragging an injured person is safer than carrying him or her. This is because moving someone can worsen their injury. If you ever find yourself in a situation similar to ours, move the person if and only if they're in a life-threatening situation. Then, always pull slowly and steadily, moving the injured in as straight a line as possible. You want to keep his or her person spine aligned so that it does not twist or bend unnaturally. Big Brother Bill knew how to react. If you want to be a hero like Big Brother I'm sure there's a place in your area when one can learn first aid. Ask around!

What fantastic writing! I've never quite found myself so invested in a play-by-play before. I really want these guys to be OK :)
