Hello! As you can see not five minutes have passed and the situation resolved itself nicely. Big Brother Bill’s and Mr. Vela’s friendship is all the stronger for it. I would’ve liked to see Ms. Ichtaca join the group hug, but it seems she is still a bit reluctant. Hopefully she’ll get around to it before our shared journey ends. In any case, we’ll rest some and then we’ll delve even deeper underground. Perhaps we’ll go so deep that it’ll start getting warmer. I can’t wait to find out! It certainly would be nice if Big Brother Bill didn’t need to curl up under his blanket so much.

It’s like an entire underground metropolis. Mr. Vela is genuinely enjoying himself, as if Ms. Ichtaca’s absence doesn’t bother him. He says the city could hold hundreds of thousands of denizens, but it seems it’s almost entirely abandoned now. Almost. Big Brother Bill is watchful as always. But with Big Brother being on guard and Mr. Vela investigating into the minutia of roof construction we’re not making much progress. Perhaps we should look for road signs, Big Brother? Our road signs are made to be clear and easy to learn and I think it’s very likely that theirs are as well. Let’s search!

One moment. Big Brother Bill packed a small mirror and if I do it just right I maybe I can contrive for it to fall out of the knapsack, so Big Brother hears it. Big Brother Bill is bloodied, but perseveres and still finds it in himself to encourage other explorers. The dim red glow permeates the entire cavern so they can't see Big Brother's bruises and cuts too clearly. They'll go on because Big Brother Bill told them it is they're duty. He took their last torch and threw it over the railing. I couldn't see it from where I was sitting, but I could hear Mr. Vela's reaction. The torch dropped far. Yet it was still visible from the bridge. It's so much easier to strive for a visible goal, isn't it? Onwards! How about we sing too? The snakes can sense us, but we can show them that Big Brother Bill's expedition is not afraid.
