Another Proof of concept deck of mine. This time done for our best archer in the game (If somebody told you that it's Skids, they have lied to you).

Let's start from two assumptions for this deck. This isn't meant to be deck for solo play. You won't be able to handle gathering clues. But you can handle any agility test, and reliably take care of most enemies you will face.

Main strategy is simple. With 8 you can easily dodge anything. With 9 you can hit anything. So let's build around this.

Main priority in this deck is finding as many cards passively boosting agility as possible- Peter Sylvestre and Track Shoes will just boost your stat anywhere, so they should be priority.

Then we have Ornate Bow and Trench Coat both boosting for respectively combat and evade.

If you set all pieces, you attack with base stat of 9- this doesn't even need further boosting most of the time. You also evade with base stat of 8, which should be fine as well.

Just for clarity- when you are fighting monster, your turn should look like: evade, attack, reload. This will kill most of the monsters, and will keep evade those still alive. Remember that you just evaded monster, and dealt him 4 dmg (3 from bow, 1 from dodge).

When you want to evade, you have set of cards that can help you do variable things with your evasion. Currently I'm not sure if all of those make sense, and if you can afford them, but for now I assume that in worst case you can throw Bait and Switch and Slip Away from this deck, and add Flashlight and Newspaper to make it pretty reasonable solo deck.

Quick note about Slip Away I still believe that it will work in Rita even with her low , just due to insanely high .

Skills are pretty classic survivor stuff, nothing fancy, but should work.

One last note before I jump in testing it in real game. This deck seems finished at this point. You do not need anymore XP. Yes, you can upgrade Peter Sylvestre, Lucky! and other cards. But I don't believe this deck will get much stronger than this 6xp version. You have everything you need. And for 0XP version, throw in Baseball Bat- you won't do as much as with bow, but it is okayish for 3 combat gator.

I love this! I've been wondering how to tackle Rita, and this seems like a well justified Evade-and-Kill deck.

The best archer in the game is still Wendy :P

I like this deck but perhaps it'd be smart to supplement the bow with Hunting rifle, just to increase your odds of finding a weapon since fighting seems to be this decks primary task.

@Tsuruki23 I believe Rita isn't in such need of more fighting tools. You won't be facing that much enemies in 2 player game, and outsode of Dunwich hunter isn't that much common. So using her ability you can slowly wear enemies, use Waylay for biggest threats, or simply evade and run from them.

This deck is supposed to handle enemies, not necessairly kill them. If you can use agility to kill, cool, otherwise just dodge them. Old Hunting Rifle might be good, but it is generally okay card, in this deck I feel like you will water it down this way.

I think that Cheap Shot is a hard consider for Rita Young. It gives you a great chance of evading the enemy while also inflicting a point of damage on them. A card like this is basically a 2 damage attack in most circumstances combined with her ability.

It is a great supplement to the Ornate Bow since it gives you some non-hand slot extra damage potential. On that same note, I might also consider including Flare as an upgrade for the same reason. Both Cheap Shot and Flare are event based damage that can supplement the bow much like Backstab and Sneak Attack supplement the other style investigators.

It seems like a pretty horror intensive campaign if Carolyn Fern is going to arrive in it, so Peter Sylvestre is great, but I think I'll include a couple Cherished Keepsakes as well.

@BronzeIt's beyond my understanding how did I missed your point about Cheap Shot- obviously goes into deck.

Speaking of Flare, I don't really like Exile cards, so I didn't included it. But it is matter of taste.

Speaking of Cherished Keepsake- this deck wasn't aimed towards any specific campaign, so I skipped campaign specific tech. Deck should sweep FA easily, will probably work as it is in Dunwich, but I can see necessity for additional Sanity soak for Carcosa and probably CU. But tailoring deck for campaign is another thing, this was (as mentioned in description) general draft for agility archer Rita.
