This is a simple Lola Hayes deck that I used in a successful run against The Blob recently, but it's something that could work well in a variety of standalone scenarios. It focuses mainly on teamwork effects, but also makes use of Dynamite Blast and the Ornate Bow to deliver bursts of damage when necessary. A more-detailed breakdown follows:

TEAMWORK: "You're going out there to destroy them, right? ... I'm in."

Nearly half of this deck is focused on helping a group survive the thing that landed in Blackwater. Lola has everything from encounter card control in Stargazing and First Watch, damage and horror mitigation in First Aid and Brother Xavier, a Decoy to help someone who's been ambushed, and some very efficient draw and resource gain in Stand Together. She also has Open Gate to place gates around the map and help others save move actions, Daring to boost anyone's Fight or Evade test, and Venturer to reload a primary monster slayer's big gun as well as her own Ornate Bow and First Aid. I recommend burning through Venturer's supplies as quickly as you can rather than saving them for your own Ornate Bow, because the faster you empty those supplies, the less-bad you'll feel when the Venturer is discarded due to damage, horror, or Crisis of Identity.

SURVIVAL: "You guys throw me at the wolves, and now you want me to go back out there?!?"

Lola has seven cards dedicated to boosting Agility and Willpower , largely for dealing with Treacheries, but also for evading monsters and landing arrows. Note that Narrow Escape synergises very well with the Ornate Bow in the specific situation of needing to reload while engaged with a monster.

DAMAGE: "Get away from her!"

Though she is not intended to replace a Mark Harrigan or Leo Anderson, Lola has a small but solid set of damage-dealing cards for taking down monsters. The Ornate Bow combines very well with her survival cards above, and as its Neutral, won't get blasted by a random Crisis of Identity. Meanwhile, Dynamite Blast can save the team when a whole bunch of monsters show up at once to overwhelm the group.

So, if you're looking for a fun teamwork-oriented deck for standalones with a variety of tricks for dealing with monsters and helping out teammates, give this Lola Hayes deck a try!
