Disclaimer: this deck is a work in progress. It's my first try and not tested yet. Maybe I'll find out it doesn't work at all, surely I'll discover ways to improve it. Helpfull comments are definitely welcome ! And now without further ado:

What was I thinking ?

I tried to build a Sefina deck for a true solo campaign but found out I wanted to take way too many events (each 2x off course) and couldn't choose which ones to leave out. Thanks to The Painted World each event below Sefina is turned into multiple copies of itself. Thus I deleted every event copy from my deck which still didn't shrink my deck enough. That gave me the stupid idea to build a deck with only lonely cards: a single copy of each.

Thoughts on reliability

A solo investigator needs ways to reliably deal with enemies and investigate. Sefina's 2 and 2 doesn't help here. Besides her 5 health makes her very fragile, she really needs a reliable way to deal with damage. But you won't be able to reliably find any 1 card if you have only one copy of it even with Sefina's 13 card opening draw. Reliability then comes down to having at least 2 different ways to deal with enemies, investigate, remain healthy and pay for all of those. So you should reliably always find one way to do those in your opening hand.

Deal with enemies

As Sefina cannot usefully wield a weapon with her 2, spells are her most reliable way to kill monsters. I went for Shrivelling as that gives you 1 horror when you pull a bad token, contrary to Azure Flame which might give you damage (I play True solo on easy, which makes a bad result with the flame even more likely) and Sefina really doesn't need any avoidable damage. That is 1 way to deal with enemies. Another is to run away, which Sefina can do reasonably well with her 4. To help her with this we can give her some nice events like Elusive, Slip Away and Think on Your Feet. Finally Sefina can fight by event with Backstab, Storm of Spirits or Sneak Attack.

Investigate

Sefina has 2 ways to investigate without using her lousy 2 : Lockpicks lets her use her while Rite of Seeking uses . Pilfer is there for those locations where you need to find a lot of clues fast.

Remain alive

Sanity is not a problem for Sefina, definitely not with the help of some Liquid Courage. Unfortunately that is not true for her health. The Arcane Initiate and David Renfield can offer some help and the Robes of Endless Night provides some soak too. Ward of Protection should help to keep the number of enemies low. Finally Painkillers turn some damage into horror. I'm not sure if this provides me enough damage soak. If not I could spend some xp for a Bulletproof Vest but I want to avoid that because the Robes help with economy and I have other plans for that xp.

Pay for the goodies

Sefina does a lot by event, which is often an expensive way of doing things. Since this deck is intended for solo play Lone Wolf can solve this singlehandedly if she finds it early. But she cannot ely on that so the deck has plenty of other economy cards. Voice of Ra, David Renfield, Sneak By and the good old Emergency Cache are other sources of resources. And Uncage the Soul and the Robes of Endless Night help to pay for all Sefina's spells.

Fill up the deck

Lucky Cigarette Case and Pickpocketing help Sefina to cycle through her deck faster and get her to see every card in it. Holy Rosary is usefull for any investigater that works with her . Scrying Mirror can help mitigate the chaos for important tests. Delve Too Deep is there to rack up enough xp. offers an emergency exit. Quantum Flux is there because of a tip from the guys at Playing Board Games: by shuffling your discards back in your deck you prevent the Stars of Hyades to show up too often.
