This is a retaliation Tommy build with a side of gun throwing. The big benefits here are testless damage through Guard Dog, armor of thorns and Toe to Toe. We also lean into the thorns angle with the Survival Knives which we can throw early on with Act of Desperation. The biggest risk of this build is potentially having more than one damaged piece of equipment, but we can force damage pretty easily which mitigates some of this. The big mitigation however is counter balance through custom modifications. This lets us throw our Well-Maintained becky with its other attached cards, and replay the whole stack for 1 action, drawing cards for most of the attached cards. This helps fill in one of Tommy's sticking points which is card draw.

To address some missing cards that Arkham db doesn't have yet:

The deck should contain 2 refine

The side deck should have 2 custom modifications, 2 guard dog 2, and 2 prepared for the worst 2

In the thick of it XP goes to Hunter's Armor, 1 for enchanted, 2 for either durable or hallowed as needed.

Upgrade order:

First upgrade is for Hunter's Armor to armor of thorns which really kicks off our retaliate damage.

Next take Well-Maintained replacing Vicious Blow as our damage should be sufficient. These help get some value out of Act of Desperation, as we are now able to throw becky safely and we can still throw the knives.

Next towards custom modifications, taking leather grip and counterbalance replacing a remaining pair of skills, or perhaps safeguard.

Reliable next, replacing refine as we should be done with it. At this point Act of Desperation really begins to shine. We can throw becky with a pile of attached cards, take it back, and reattach, drawing multiple cards from custom modification's counterbalance.

Guard Dog to guard dog 2 is really powerful here, turning one of our big thorns cards into both more thorns and forced attacks. Whats even better is guard dog doesn't have the same limits that armor of thorns does around uses per turn.

Upgrades at this point are mostly cake, Martyr's Vambrace for let me handle this, Prepared for the worst 2 for Prepared for the Worst, Safeguard for Safeguard, Bandolier for Bandolier, in whatever order you want. We can also consider Custom Ammunition if we want more draw option or even Enchant Weapon but this can start to interfere with our thorns so I'd avoid it. Plus later on it's a great team card if we need to float an action. Important to note that we really don't want to upgrade survival knife. We want attacks to go through and destroy our armor and Tetsuo as consistently as possible.

Easiest cards to replace in this deck are solemn vows which I'm taking to assist the Agnes in my party as well as safeguard which maybe we can live without? Also if you are in a party with very squishy people with bad agility and fight, taking "Get behind me!" in place of let me handle this could be very strong, it does the job of grabbing enemies while also triggering our thorns, potentially killing an enemy as a fast action.
