Charlie Kane may look like your ordinary politician.

On the outside he was a charming figure with a penchant for bombast, inspiring loyalty with his security detail and dogs alike.

Dogs that occasionally got a little worked up and needed their handler to put them in a time out.

(Interesting that the cats needed no such supervision...)

But on the inside Charlie was the product of times of austerity that demanded initiative and taught sometimes painful new lessons.

It was a mixture of his inventiveness and luck charms that led him to expand into bootlegging, and ultimately towards a stunning find: a dangerous and powerful artifact.

Note: This is a build designed around the lower clue and enemy health counts of true solo. While I think this could also do well in multiplayer as a flex/support role you'll probably want to do some larger tweaks to increase damage and clue gathering potential.

Taboo Note: If you're playing with taboo (I usually don't in true solo as it's punishing enough already) then you'll need to replace Drawing Thin with more resource gain and card draw until you get 6 XP. Consider cutting Grievous Wound and Live and Learn early for Gregory Gry, Laboratory Assistant, or another E-Cache. Alternatively, you could skip Runic Axe's Saga and go with the "Glory" inscription instead.

Hey glad you're enjoying it! I'm about 75% through the Scarlet Keys and Mr. Kane has smoked every scenario with max VP. I have found that Inscription of the Hunt is a must though. Solves the lack of move tech in the deck. Happy campaigning!

Hello, I would like to know how to deal with mental sanity tests. gracias

@Ascaderios For Willpower tests you're probably going to fail most of them until you get enough XP for Black Cat and Girish but that's OK! You've got plenty of allies to soak up the damage and horror and Rabbits Foot and Drawing Thin will help you take advantage of the failure. Plus Live and Learn will give you a chance to retake and succeed if it's a particularly nasty treachery.

In my experience the lack of Willpower really didn't slow Charlie down at all.

Thanks for checking out the deck!
