Jack always runs away from problems! Jack only cares about money...
Main focus of this deck:
- Getting clues
- Getting money, and hopefully embezzling it with Embezzled Treasure. Some money can be shared with certain cards
- Using Higher Education to protect yourself from treachery () or to investigate high shroud ()
- Card draw to keep Higher Education active
- Triggering "Succeed by" effect such as but not limited to "Watch this!" and Quick Thinking
- Never fighting. Getting the hell away from whatever threat that may come.
Upgrade Path:
- 2x Archaic Glyphs -> 2x Archaic Glyphs (Guiding Stones) [6 exp total] (If researched)
- Ancestral Knowledge [6 exp]. Then pick 2 cards in Skill cards (to fulfill the 10 Skill card requirements) between Nimble, Perception, or Unexpected Courage. For the 3 other cards, pick lvl 0 Seeker cards like Crack the Case, Fieldwork. The reason not to rush Ancestral Knowledge is to gain these lvl 0 Seeker cards. Easy to forget that despite being a Rogue, Jack doesn't have access to Adaptable or any lvl 1+ Rogue cards.
- 2x Upgraded Deduction (4 exp total)
- 2x Survey the Area (2 exp total)
- 2x Upgraded Perception (4 exp total)
- Scout Ahead -> 2x Pathfinder
- At some point get Upgraded "I've got a plan!"
- Lucky Cigarette Case -> Eon Chart (1 or 4 exp)
Disposable cards:
- Lockpicks
- Breaking and Entering
- Slip Away
Lvl 0 Cards to keep:
- "You handle this one!"
- Faustian Bargain and Grift
Nice to haves:
- Cryptic Research. (Thought about having Deep Knowledge and replacing it with Cryptic Research, but thought Crack the Case would be better)
- Upgraded Mind over Matter
- Gené Beauregard
- Prophesiae Profana
- The Eye of Truth
Possible Edits: I chose Streetwise over Hard Knocks because Hard Knocks cost money, while Streetwise doesn't. And I intend to avoid fighting anyways and have no assets that will use fight.
