These decks were created with the budget player in mind. When I set out I genuinely did not want to purchase 2 core sets for the multiplayer experience. These four decks are designed around the first available 4 player multiplayer decks, 120 cards across 3 expansion total purchases. This deck requires a Single Core Set, Dunwich Expansion, and Miskatonic Museum Mythos Pack.

Dividing the power cards across 4 players in effective ways was challenging. The critical classes were Survivor and Mystic these classes I saw as having 2 very distinct paths allowing multiple decks to pull from them. Survivor had a mixture of evasion and attack where Mystic had a support and adventuring subset. Some of the worst cards in the game needed to find a place in these decks otherwise I would fall short of the character's deck requirements. Although there will be some distinct cards you would wish to leave out, I personally found after the initial mission players may begin immediately upgrading their cards allowing for instant customization and removal of obvious fodder.

These decks were designed for Standard difficulty. The decks were forced to cover specific archetypes and play out roughly as follows: there are 2 all around characters with Agnus and Jenny, then 1 specialized investigator with Daisy, and 1 all out guardian with Zoey. I hope you enjoy and if you wish to leave feedback in the comments that would be great. Below is a description of the various desks and their strengths and weaknesses. Have fun!

Jenny Barnes (Rogue): Jenny Barnes fills the role of an all-around investigator. Her decent stats across the board generally work well in most occasions if there is even the slightest boost to the stats. Because of this I did allocate a good number of high power cards, such as Baseball Bat Fire Axe Perception, these types of cards are required to provide this deck consistency when completing some of the more challenging Rogue cards like Double or Nothing Scavenging .41 Derringer. Finally, Jenny's character power of generating additional resources encouraged this deck to include high-cost contributors such as Dynamite Blast Leo De Luca.

Recommend upgrading/removing: Contraband, then Liquid Courage or Think on Your Feet.

Daisy Walker (Seeker/Mystic): Daisy helps the party mostly through investigation although I also included a variety of support cards for a character that will have times when unable to do much anything else. Daisy's naturally high investigation skill is further enhanced with staples Dr. Milan Christopher Magnifying Glass and a handful of other Seeker cards. Utility cards allow Daisy to approach problems differently than most standard investigators such as Shortcut Barricade Medical Texts. Daisy only slightly dips into her Mystic roots allowing her to assess the situation and advance the group as needed, the combo between Scrying and Delve Too Deep is a particular favorite when setting up the deck and should give you an idea of what I expected the deck to be doing.

Recommend upgrading/removing: 2x Shortcut.

Zoey Samaras (Guardian): Zoey is the Blue deck Guardian of the group. To be frank the decks feels like its missing an overall synergy. Cards like Teamwork Emergency Aid Smoking Pipe don't truly add to the fighter theme. Zoey does benfit from combos with her investigator ability pairing better with odd cards like Taunt. The main objective will be an aggressive mulligan strategy for a weapon that provides additional fist/damage such as Machete Switchblade Kukri. Zoey's main highlight would be her strong ally assets with Peter Sylvestre Guard Dog Beat Cop. However, without many investigation abilities, Zoey's goal would be to engage at every opportunity and use her turns between drawing cards she will use to discard during ability tests.

Recommend upgrading/removing: 2x Blackjack Contraband.

Agnes Baker (Mystic/Survivor): The final deck in this series is Agnus she plays an evasive all-around character. Agnus depends on specific cards Fire Axe Rite of Seeking Shrivelling to do investigations and fighting. The game then becomes the set up and the survivor half of this deck brings out all of the evasive staples Stray Cat Survival Instinct Blinding Light Manual Dexterity. Agnus has a unique damage dealing ability in a tight spot using her investigator ability paired with fun combos Ward of Protection Forbidden Knowledge Painkillers. Overall a very balanced deck that can strongly influence a lot of different story points.
