So. My first deckpost here!

Yes I know; no machette. I wanted to make a guardian deck without it and find that most of the identity to guardian while playing comes from the weapons used.

The deck initially has in mind to beat the snot out of every enemy encountered and actively seeking them out from the encounter deck. Generally speaking a good bit of encounter deck manipulation between Dr. William T. Maleson and On the Hunt. Being able to get monsters on high shroud location through the above manipulation or otherwise moving them there through Shortcut. Take the Initiative is another card that helps when drawing into the bad horror related encounter stuff.

Assisting in cluegetting mostly comes from killing enemies and on how to aquire those see the encounter deck manipulation above again. To aid in this further, or get early clues, there are Art Student, Scene of the Crime and the trusty Flashlight.

Further deck choices are made with the campaign progression in mind:

To avoid Roland from going crazy too soon are Smoking Pipe, Dodge, and Logical Reasoning. Together with the Encounter deck manipulation stated above. also has a bit of a role in this as it allows a nigh crazy Roland to take a physical trauma instead (aside from all around epicness for the group) if not usefull its still 2 fight icons.

Lastly, combat wise: 3 firearms and a prepared for the worst. To ensure a good chance of seeing 1 turn 1. The .32 Colt and Roland's .38 Special all rely on ammo, and that is primarily with Custom Ammunition in mind eventually growing out into a M1918 BAR (seeing as a fellow investigator is running Contraband).

Furthermore the deck wants to go into Stick to the Plan as soon as possible, combined with Ever Vigilant for a nigh guaranteed turn 1/2 setup efficiency.

I'm still somewhat on the fence on upgrading for Reliable as well for the +1 fight on the high ammo weapons that this deck runs.

Let me know what you think!
