I am in the middle of the Insmouth Campaign with Trish Scarborough, which is our primary clue finder and evader. The goal is mostly to destroy enemies but this build can also get some clues.

The Timeworn Brand has it all, extra fists and damage, and adding the willpower for a big swing is just perfect. I aggressively mulligan the opening hand for the sword (TB), but the other weapons will suffice in early scenarios at least. The Prepared for the Worst is pretty much there to ensure the TB is drawn, or at least the Machete. Blessed Blade is OK, it will never cause any fireworks but the blesses help the team, especially when you have 8+ of them in the bag...

Helping boost your fists is the 2x Beat Cop. The Ace of Swords has also been very clutch in addition to the 2x Vicious Blow. Spectral Razor is surprisingly cheap for the extra damage and the potential action economy it provides if an enemy is engaged with your teammate. 2x Promise of Power is fantastic as the single curses are barely noticeable.

For supplies, the Rite of Sanctification is also pretty fantastic. I usually try to not use it unless there are at least 3-4 blesses in the bag. The one extra Emergency Cache provides the additional safety net so you can always purchase the TB.

My last concern was survivability, where several cards come into play. Dodge, Hand of Fate, Ward of Radiance, Flesh Ward, and Hallowed Mirror all help with this.

To assist with some clues, we have 2x Drawn to the Flame and I bought an upgraded Rite of Seeking.

Delve Too Deep is the icing on the cake. Kill and support. Win.

Edit: going forward, I am going to buy Stick to the Plan. That way I can always have Prepared for the Worst ready to go. Add in the Emergency Cache and a Dodge. Also looking at buying the M1918 BAR to replace the Blessed Blades, in case the TB wants to be elusive. Big weapons, big damage.
