This deck is built to be an enemy killer, and specifically deal with the concealed mechanic in The Scarlett Keys. This write-up assumes familiarity with the concealed mechanic and the campaign in general, and contains spoilers as such. This deck is not designed for clueing. She has murder in her heart.
This is a Down the Rabbit Hole deck, and so the majority of cards will just upgrade into higher level versions of the same cards; I have not listed those cards. You can upgrade them as you see fit. The prioty here should be the Beat Cop, as Beat Cop allows you to reveal a hidden card testlessly, and the damage can be healed off with Bandages. I found the Enchanted Blade to be excelent for an early upgrade, to both give her more consistent fighting, as well as more draw and managing her horror, though this is campaign indepdendent.
The only cards that are not direct upgrades are the Butterfly Swords, though because you can upgrade them twice, The Rabbit Hole tax can be a wash, and Empty Vessel. The Butterfly Swords are excellent for revealing concealed enemies, as you can keep attacking until you find one with one damage attacks, and then use the higher damage attack once you've found the enemy. Empty Vessel is here because the campaign starts adding nasty Cultist tokens by the end, and this is a strategy for mitigating those. It also allows Zoey to have some utility as a healer, when combined with Solemn Vow, so she can pull damage and horror on to herself and then heal it when she draws a spooky token.
Embezzled Treasure is a solid one-of for Zoey- she usually ends games with lots of resources, which can be applied to the start of the next campaign to get lots of items into play with Geared Up. Backpack and Bandolier are tricky since they occupty the same spot, but the idea is to use the Backpack to tutor the items you want (especially Zoey's Cross and Empty Vessel) and then replace it with the Bandolier. Having the Butterfly Swords and Enchanted Blade out at the same time is the goal.
Kicking the Hornet's Nest and On the Hunt (and the upgraded On the Hunt) are absolutely amazing cards for this campaign, especially in Zoey. They (along with Smite the Wicked) allow you to pull conceled enemies out and kill them normally, without having to pull them from the shadows. Zoey will find you and cut you!
Safeguard is of course excellent in any Guardian, and lets her focus on fighting with less move actions. She can be where the action is.
In general, Stand Together is not a great Zoey card, as she usually doesn't need the resources, but the upgrade to Stand Together is a huge boon for any team; if you aren't planning to get the upgrade, I'd substitute Glory instead.
Breach the Door is absolutely excellent for this campagin, since the hidden mechanic drives off of the shroud value, and with a good pull she can even reduce a shroud to zero and grab some clues.
Finally, her trio of skills Daring, Overpower, and Vicious Blow help her hit her fight tests and get some damage acceleration. Overpower and Vicious Blow are both upgradable with Down The Rabbit Hole.
This deck will absolutely murder everything in The Scarlett Keys, so if you have murder in your heart, give it a whirl.
