Now after been incite by my friend, I bring this deck to Dunwich Legacy Hard mode.
We finish Dunwich legacy, Miscatonic Museum, Curse of the Rougarou, Carnevale of Horror. We got 30 exp by Bury Them Deep and Delve Too Deep spend on those side quest for 4 so we got 26 exp total.
Experience Spent
- First we search Professor Warren Rice that include in my deck, so I decide to buy Charisma first to make up slot for Dr. Milan Christopher and Professor to stay together.
- Then add up with Deduction for more investigate power.
- Higher Education is no brain choice for make sure that every action is not lost
- After spend money on Higher Education I upgrade Magnifying Glass to save my money.
- Remove a Shortcut and Lucky! to slot in Pathfinder is a big change but I found that is a good move, i'll talk about this later.
- Emergency Cache before Cryptic Research because we need money for our education.
Mulligan Choice
I usually keep my first hand in this order.
For investigate (+1 )
- Dr. Milan Christopher still the best card to keep
- "Look what I found!" at beginning of the quest is a very good start, you don't have that much at first.
- Magnifying Glass free cost is good to start with
- Professor Warren Rice hard to be effective
If I got Milan and Warren in first hand I'll keep them both and play Milan first.
For move around the map
- Pathfinder free move forever, you can ignore Frozen in Fear
- Shortcut I don't recommend to keep this because I spec this card to be the way out of danger.
For the better future
- Scavenging because we have 4 card that can loop by this.
For card draw
- Analytical Mind permanent card draw, support team the best card in this deck.
- Laboratory Assistant is not usually keep her but if I don't see any other ally she is a meat shield for you.
- Perception is not that good, always use this to get rid of The King in Yellow
Removed Card
- Why Lucky!? because I don't see any window to use this card, It can't be commit and with Higher Education you will always have only to make you fail a test.
- Shortcut because Minh Thi Phan doesn't need to go fast as Rex she need to stay with her mate, that's why I don't need that much mobility.
To play this deck
The goal of this deck is to support your team by Minh Thi Phan's ability, key is to stay at the right place in the right time.
remember that Minh's ability always fire at the first commit card you or your friend use at each round.
But anyway you still a seeker don't forget to gather enough clue and advance act deck as fast as possible too.
- Very first few turn you must have one or more +1 asset in play.
- If you've a Pathfinder in play, you're in a very good spot.
Remember that you don't have too much sanity as Rex or Daisy and don't have any healing things, avoid them as much as possible.
- Dr. Milan Christopher is not your body guard, don't let him die easily.
- Laboratory Assistant is your real body guard, don't be afraid to push her into creature.
Scavenging is your best card to support your team
- Once you setup one or two of them, always keep Rabbit's Foot or Strange Solution in hand use them to help your friend before your self.
- Leather Coat can be scavenge and a which useful with Minh's ability.
Resourceful is for bring back some card you need to commit and can't be bring back by scavenge.
- Commit Scavenging for get rid of The King in Yellow is acceptable
- But I usually bring back "Look what I found!"
