Lola, Alton, and A Second Lola??

  • Difficulty ★★★★☆
  • Enemy Management ★☆☆☆☆
  • Clueing ★★★★★
  • Encounter protection ★☆☆☆☆
  • Survivability ★★☆☆☆
  • Economy ★★★☆☆
  • Card Drawing ★★★☆☆

This is a Lola (parallel front only) deck that reduces shroud to 0 to get free clues with Lola Santiago and Alton O'Connell. This uses the parallel front, so you can trigger abilities on your assets, and you only need to switch between Seeker, Rogue, or Survivor. I do not recommend using the Parallel back, the Guardian card pool does not add much for this archetype, there aren't many level 4 cards that make it worth it (other than maybe Quick Learner)

This deck does not require Transfiguration to function, and it won't be a priority upgrade, but transfiguring to Ursula Downs makes the setup more streamlined and leads to a better stat line and extra actions.

Strategy: First priority is finding a main shroud reducing asset, Old Keyring, Flashlight, Cryptographic Cipher and supporting assets like Matchbox to deal with higher shrouds. With either Alton O'Connell and Lola Santiago you don't need to pay any evidence or resources to get free clues during a window during the investigation. You don't always need to reduce shroud to 0 if you can afford the resources or evidence. Once your assets run out of secrets / supplies / keys, recur them with Scavenging.

Enemy Management: You can evade at base 5 or 6 in a pinch (more if you have Fox Mask).

Clueing: When you're setup, you can clear through full locations with a single investigate action at 0, and action compress with Pathfinder and Ursula's free investigate action.

Card Draw: Lucky Cigarette Case and Scroll of Secrets is your main card draw. The Scroll upgrade makes this deck extremely consistent, and ensures your assets stick around by avoiding Lola's Crisis of Identity, don't underestimate this powerful upgrade!

Economy: Use Emergency Cache Faustian Bargain and Lola's Improvisation as burst economy. Improvisation can let you switch roles mid-turn to put out assets from other classes. It also works even after you've transfigured, just make sure to continue tracking your role, but you are no longer forced to change it. Once setup, this deck does not need much cash to function, as your primary recursion target is Old Keyring.

0 / 3 XP: See the 3 XP Deck linked here.
