I'm preparing this deck for a true solo Scarlett Keys campaing, any suggestions are welcome!

Strategy

Using the permanents Geared Up and Studious combined with the Backpack and Schoffner's Catalogue we can have an spectacular first turn with everything we need for a fantastic setup to start the game.

The mulligan priority will be getting the backpack(s) and the catalogue(s) so we can get our good stuff almost free in the first turn. Aim for a weapon (Bonesaw or Runic Axe), the Fingerprint Kit for clueing and some healing items. Once we have used the backpacks its time to use the Tool Belt or the Tool Belt for "more hand slots".

The deck doesn't include almost any skill cards because the idea is to play with our own mechanic, healing Vincent or our allies to get On the Mend, that is kinda free Unexpected Courage.
I've only included Deduction and Vicious Blow because of the extra damage or clues.

Upgrade path

Customizable Cards

I want to try some customizable cards, even if they are not the better or the cheeper cards for Vincent but I jut want to try some in this campaing :)
To make space for this cards I'd take out Pocket Telescope and maybe Painkillers / Smoking Pipe.

  • Runic Axe, very good upgrades here: Inscription of Glory, Inscription of the Hunt, the expensive ones...

  • Power Word upgraded with the "Mercy" command for healing first and then I imagine this as turning Vincent Lee in kinda forensic necromancer who turns the enemies into zombie pacients working for him.

  • The Raven Quill combined with Gray's Anatomy. I'm a little reluctant about with this combo... maybe its not worthy enough because of loosing one action to activate it... but we can get +5 attacks or +5 healings... This healing combined with Soul Sanctification could generate interesting bonus.

  • Alchemical Distillation seems to me like a very good thematic card for a doctor, but I don't like it a lot... too much actions for not too much.
