Running this for a 3P Hard Innsmouth run. Operating as our Hybrid, but main focus is on clue gathering.

Edits Prior to even playing the deck, we ended up removing 2 Parallel Fates for 2 Delve Too Deep for greed.

Level 0 COMBOS

Make it Rain!!! Voice of Ra + Jacqueline's ability + Olive McBride. Then get Voice of Ra back with Scrying Mirror + Prescient and do it all over again. This is your resource engine. Uncage the Soul to make sure you can get your spells out fast.

Well that didn't hurt Wither + Eldritch Inspiration to do a damage and reduce their and by -2 with one action.

More Victory Please On the first scenario for Innsmouth you can resign. So Vincent Lee and Trish Scarborough resigned and then Jacqueline Fine played 2 Delve Too Deep in a row with Ward of Protection sitting in her hand. Ended with +2 victory and only had to draw 2 encounter cards from the trigger.

UPGRADED COMBOS

Keep the money flowing Jewel of Aureolus + Uncage the Soul can take care of your resource management from now on, hence no need for Voice of Ra Combo.

Finishing Move Sixth Sense or Wither + Eldritch Inspiration (If you have it) + Sign Magick and the one you didn't initially choose Wither or Sixth Sense = 2/4 Clues and -1/-2 , -1/-2 , and -1/-2 HP or the reverse. If you have another Sign Magick then you can do it again in reverse order.

GOD MODE - SCARLET KEYS ADDITIONS

Suffice to say Scarlet Keys was kind to Jacqueline Fine. Living Ink and Power Word are incredible. Once you have your combos above it is time to focus on these.

This particular build prioritizes upgrading Living Ink as we do not have a body slot and this card is a bonkers support card. We are going to choose as our state. We are then going to focus on giving our main fighter--Vincent Lee for this campaign--extra with Shifting Ink and Extra Ink to bolster his starting low fight stats while giving us our extra stat boost as well. But you can take this in any direction you want.

Power Word is another absolutely bonkers card from SK. A card that can lock down tough enemies for multiple turns, oh and then I can upgrade it to have that same effect on multiple enemies... and then I can upgrade it to heal, get clues, and put it back into my hand when the enemy is gone? Absolutely insane.

These 2 cards turned an already powerhouse build into a god build. The upgrade path is listed below to maximize your use of Down the Rabbit Hole and Arcane Research.

  • What's the meaning of "Scrying Mirror + Voice of Ra"? You cannot trigger Scrying Mirror during resolving Voice of Ra, because this is not a test.
  • If you play Eldritch Inspiration(0) for Sixth Senth(0) test, you still discover 1 clue since you are just investigating as if you were at the "second" chosen location instead of (your and first) location.
  • You cannot target another Sixth Sense via Sign Magick(3). You need to target different asset by title (in this case, Wither). Please check the least FAQ.
  • Arcane Research only works with spell card. Sign Magick, Parallel Fates is NOT spell card.

Thank you for your "positive" feedback.

In my defense I created this deck for my brother and discovered arkham-starter.com at 11:00 p.m. and proceeded to stay up way too late working on the upgrade path and thinking about synergies. Young kids + work + lack of sleep = missed things on my first deck write-up.

The funny part is we dropped Parallel Fates prior to starting in favor of Delve Too Deep so no issue there. I fixed the upgrade path to account for me missing that Sign Magick is not a spell card (It says "magic" damnit).

Yes I totally missed that Scrying Mirror would not trigger on Voice of Ra, but that does not mitigate the potency of Voice of Ra with Jacqueline's ability and/or Olive McBride, it was more just a "win more" addition that I thought worked. My brother pulled 7 resources off of Voice of Ra on his second turn with just Jacqueline's ability.

Fixed the combo with Sign Magick, next time I will make sure I read every word of the FAQ prior to posting anything on here...
