Bowstring Painter

In this version of Sefina, we embrace her strong and origin, and build on that to become a high , bowstring fighter.

At level 0

She has plenty of events so drawing an opening hand with fewer than 5 is rare. Store what you get, and prioritize:

• Drawn to the Flame - testless clue finding
• Narrow Escape - great utility
• Faustian Bargain - cash
• Storm of Spirits - killing things
• Ward of Protection - mythos protection

While focussing on events, this deck still has a decent set of assets. Aim for 2x Ritual Candles and one of each. Prioritize Holy Rosary to get that extra to investigate and fight.

Also note that The Painted World is a spell so it can be paid for with Uncage the Soul.

Quantum Flux is there to reshuffle your deck to limit the damage done by Stars of Hyades as your deck gets smaller.

• 2x Shrivelling → 2x Haste (2)

This changes her fight focus away from spells to use the bow. Combined with Haste the reload becomes less cumbersome.

Also note that with Haste you can:

• kill an enemy with 3 health with Ornate Bow
• reload the Ornate Bow
• investigate with Sixth Sense

with only 2 actions.

With the bow in play, we can double down on our main stats, and , to become more reliant.

With 13 cards in our opening draw, chances of drawing a tarot is quite high, so we often get to play The Moon • XVIII for free. Cat Burglar offers the same +1 as the coat, but also soak and the added evasion utility .

And Moxie (3) is just a great card, boosting both her primary stats while costing 0 and being fast card.

Further upgrades

• 2x Scout Ahead → 2x Black Market (2) - great utility to dig for cards or to provide options mid / late game if the party is low on cards.
• 2x Pickpocketing → Pickpocketing (2) - more value
• 2x Another Day, Another Dollar (3) - more money to start off
