Built for a two-handed solo campaign (standard difficulty; taboo Sep-2019) with Diana Stanley and Parallel "Skids" O'Toole
With her ability to pull double-duty off Mystic staples such as Ward of Protection (2) and Counterspell (2), Diana Stanley is the ideal partner to Parallel "Skids" O'Toole's weak .

Upgrades
Arcane Research Upgrade Order
- Ward of Protection (2) treachery mitigation + boost
- Shrivelling (3) greatly increases the viability of the spell early game
- Sixth Sense (4) as Shrivelling (3) above, with the added benefit of additional support from Eldritch Inspiration
- Storm of Spirits (3) 3 damage to all enemies in location with increased hit chance
- Shrivelling (5) 3 damage with increased hit chance - horror damage chance mitigated by "I've had worse…" (2)
- Deny Existence (5) double duty on bad-stuff reversal? fabulous!
- Eldritch Inspiration (1) if I understand the card correctly, it can now be played even if the token is not drawn
- Recharge (4) if need be
High Priority
- "I've had worse…" (2) fantastic economy and damage/horror mitigation
- Safeguard (2) save actions moving and helping Jewel of Aureolus (3) triggers
- Counterspell (2) Insurance + boost
- Recall the Future (2) Incredible card when you're familiar with the chaos bag
Medium Priority
- Jewel of Aureolus (3) Incredible with Safeguard (2) ensuring that it's more likely to be triggered/turn than not.
- Leadership (2) great economy and encounter mitigation when moving together with other Investigators
- Grotesque Statue (4) Insurance and + once expended
Low Priority
- Fearless (2) needed due to 2x Arcane Research
- Recharge (2) keeping Rite of Seeking and Shrivelling going
- Arcane Studies (4) both for Well Prepared (2) and stat pumps
- Well Prepared (2) great card but not prioritized due to lack of strong icon assets available
- Robes of Endless Night (2) Economy card - probably not needed
